Though it’s not obvious exactly what Trump’s motives are in this instance. News reports say that an assistant prepared 100+ pages of warmed-over claims but advisors talked him out of distributing it. I wonder if some of the claims might count as defamation. Or more, whether some of the claims could get pulled into the RICO case, given that the indictment lists propagating lies as overt acts in support of the conspiracy.
