Though reading the article, the problems come more from homelessness than lack of medical treatment. And we know where homelessness comes from — tight building restrictions cause the price of housing to skyrocket. Compare to a place like Iowa, where building is generally easy. Despite being considerably poorer on the average than NYC, SF, LA, or Seattle, there’s very little homelessness.
