It seems like you’re right. OTOH, if the Democrats run challengers who are well-targeted toward the states they run in, there doesn’t seem to be any reason they can’t pick up some states.

What states? Florida? Missouri? Texas? I’m afraid that it will take a blue tsunami; a mere blue wave won’t suffice.
