As a layman, I don’t see how this harms personal injury clients. It looks like M&M is pledging to play hardball (or even harder ball) against the defendants, which naively appears to be in the interests of the clients.
Politically, it seems to be a maneuver to make the insurance companies curse the day that DeSantis’ tort reform came into effect (which presumably they supported).
