Sort of … Really, it undermines the legitimacy of the court as seen by progressives like you, me, the writers of the article, and the readers of the New York Times. But there was a big “impeach Earl Warren” movement back in his day, it was just that conservatives saw many of the court’s decisions as being illegitimate.
